Practice Schedule for the Lads

November:
-Allow the lads to continue fitness under the direction of one of the team leaders.
-Basic passing/kicking skills can be integrated into the fitness training.  Fitness focus should be on anaerobic/aerobic conditioning, and flexibility.
-Since these sessions are not under the direct control of a coach, there can be no contact drills, nor can there be "team" strength training sessions using weights.

December:
-Start twice a week practice under the control of coach.  The first practice would be 1 Dec.  The following dates would then be practice 6, 8, 13 (may need Coach Lines or Bowlen to cover), 15 (may need Coach Lines or Bowlen to cover), 20, 22, 27,29.
-Find an unused field to practice on.  Ridgetop currently seems to be the field of choice (would someone verify that?).  There have been suggestions to use military facilities at both Bangor and the Shipyard, but we would have issues of escorting minors on the base.  Since I have access to the classrooms and lights next to the field on the Shipyard, If we had to go this route, I would much rather use the Shipyard.
-Since fields with lights may prove to be cost prohibitive, or simply not available, we will schedule practice during daylight hours- generally 3:00 to 4:30/5:00 (depending on darkness)
-Since these practices will be official functions, all players will need to have turned in their parental permission forms and signed code of conduct to the Team Manager (Ms Crumb).  Forms are on the facebook page as a photo.
-Uniform will be sweat suits, boots/cleats, mouth piece, knit cap (or hoodie), and hand coverings.  If it is raining or snowing, the Lads will be expected to have a change of clothes handy
-Rain will not cancel practice; snow will not cancel practice unless it creates dangerous driving conditions (parent's call); ice on the roads will cancel practice.

January:
-We will have no practice the first week of January to allow the Lads to get back into Academic mode
-January practice will start at 4:15 on Tuesday, 10 January.  It will go until 6:15.  Practice will be three times a week (Tues/Wed/Thurs)
-Practice will be at Pendergast Athletic Complex in Bremerton on the sand soccer fields.
-By this time I should have the amount for dues (expect between 125.00- 150.00 per player due to increases from both USA Rugby and Rugby Washington) and how Rugby Washington expects the teams to pay its dues and registration with USA Rugby.

This information will be put on the Facebook page.  Lads please get the information out via your own social media contacts (facebook, myspace, +Google) and texting.  Parents please use your own professional and social networks to the get the word out to potential players and parents
